Gently Haunted True Stories from the Haunted Antique Shop
In the town of Deland Florida there is a Haunted Antique Store. The owner is Corrine Kenner, my guest on High Road to Humanity.
Corrine is an author of 27 books and shares her "Gently Haunted True Stories from the Haunted Antique Shop with us on the show.
There are ghosts who frequent the store who have a connection with the place and ones that come in with the customers, Corrine explains.
Craftsman's built the Bungalow in 1921 and has been placed on the National Register of Historical places but it's what lies within that draws the crowds.
She is not into the negative scary stuff in her antique store but shares many true events with us that will fascinate you! We hear of a boy doll named Charlie who seems to move on his own, and changes his facial expressions, a cup and ball toy said to have belonged to Winston Churchill, a letter opener that appeared out of no where, a cursed ring and so much more. And if that's not enough this town holds much history, Thomas Edison wired Stetsons home in Deland , yes the hat maker and Deland was one of the first towns as Edison to have electricity in the United States as Edison built their power station.
Fascinating show, with an amazing guest.
