Lisa Van der Wielen is a Writer of poetry, children's books, and stories. Lisa is also a Primary School Teacher and a Mum of two beautiful daughters. Lisa is passionate about working with children and has always had a love for writing, so those things combined have led her to become a Children's Author. Lisa is a proud supporter of the local charities: Perth Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia and Heart Kids. Lisa endeavors to write fun stories that inspire kids to learn, laugh, and enjoy the magic of reading. Being a Mother and Teacher of children, in today's world, has given Lisa a valuable insight into how prevalent Anxiety is in Children. Lisa believes her book DUNE is her best writing yet, Dune is a sweet and endearing story about how one little girl learns to conquer her anxiety: Sometimes, it’s hard for Grace to overcome her anxiety.
