Jasper Bhaumick (CEO of bizpando AG and UMa Soft GmbH) Studied business and economics in Bremen. In my final work for diploma, I wrote about projects in emerging countries on the example of growing lupins in Africa.
But right after my studies I got into the SAP consulting business in different industries before I got first SAP Project manager and then for my CIO position in the defense industry. I moved forward to a CIO position in the renewable energy industry and then in the health care industry. During that time I also founded my first company the 3Txpert GmbH together with colleagues and friends. After 20 years SAP experience of which 12 years as CIO I founded the UMa Soft GmbH with the same colleagues as a second company and became its CEO. Currently the UMa Soft is the main owner of the bizpando AG which is the main reason, why I‘m here today.
Some more words about 3Txpert and UMa Soft. With an experienced team of developers we developed CrossLoom, a digital transformation engine, an enterprise service bus, with an extremely capable development framework. As nearly the complete team as a lot of internal IT experience, befor bizpando we concentrated on the development of CrossLoom and customer projects.
Two years ago, I had a discussion with a business partner about supply chain acts. It came up, that a lot of business associations try fight these. Some of the arguments about additional effort and the difficulty of exponentially growing sub suppliers along the supply chain where correct. But I thought, that can‘t be the reason to continue as it is. Beside the rough conception of a supply chain compliance platform, I focused on economic advantages for Germany and Europe from strong supply chain acts. And it wasn‘t too difficult to find several benefits from a pure economic perspective without taking any ethical arguments into account. If European companies enable companies in developing countries to work within the rules of corporate accountability, that would practically tackle all major European threats.
There would be less pollution, especially in countries, which are closing up, that will be the biggest issue. By children in schools instead of on fields, the necessary know how to decrease violent unrest in the affected countries. Moreover a high skilled, well paid workforce will be established. That would immediately reduce war and economic refugees and by that the populism in European politics.
